Gibson Hall has been hosting small and large conferences for over 25 years and therefore has excellent experience in supporting the organiser pre, during and post event, as well as ensuring every guest coming through the door has a fantastic day at the venue.
As a conference venue in central London, one of the key advantages that Gibson Hall has is its location. Based right in the heart of the City, the transport links are great. The venue is just five minutes walk from Bank station on the Central, Northern, Waterloo & City lines and Docklands Light Railway, with easy routes to the West End, Canary Wharf, north and south London, and Liverpool Street overground station. Only just a fraction further away is Monument station with the Circle and District lines. The bus routes are great and there are always taxis in the area to get guests to and from events at the venue.
Exclusive Corporate Event Hire
We only hire the venue exclusively for events, so there will never be anyone else using the venue for an event at the same time as you. The venue hire that you are quoted means you have the whole building to yourselves. This gives our guests huge flexibility in how they use the space, both for their event itself but also for branding requirements. When putting on an event where the brand exposure and messaging are key, somewhere offering exclusive hire offers opportunities and scope for creative possibilities. There may also be some sensitivity to the message or content of a conference; exclusivity at a venue can ensure that this is not of concern throughout the event.
Flexible AV Solutions
Gibson Hall offers a flexible AV solution. We don’t hold any equipment on site, so we are able to offer each client a tailored state-of-the-art AV package that is going to be right for their personal event. Not all conference venues offer this if they have set equipment already in their venue. We have a “starting from” package that we know will provide a simple set for a conference set-up and is part of the day delegate package that we offer. Our preferred AV supplier can come along with us at a site visit and advise the best solution and options for your specific event, and what you are trying to achieve.
Flexibility in Style
Gibson Hall offers flexibility on the layout for any conference event. The Main Hall is a blank space; the location of where the set might be and how guests flow through the event spaces can be tailored to each event, depending on the client requirements. The open space also allows for a variety of styles in the conference set-up. Whether theatre style, cabaret, chevron, classroom or boardroom, each are easily achieved with the Min Hall and indeed the Garden Room, should this be needed, as a breakout room. We have also hosted a number of alternative conferences with soft furnishings and interactive team activities which are equally as easy to produce at Gibson Hall.
Great energising food can really make the difference at a conferencing event. Guests always remember the food at events; breaks in the day should reinvigorate and refocus your delegates, so they are ready for the next session. There are some great menus that we can offer that are both interesting, so they engage your guests, but also have energising qualities to focus the mind. Plenty of “brain food” such as blueberries, seeds and nuts can be included in smoothies, energy balls and bakery items.
Gibson Hall boasts a stunning garden space which is just next to the Garden Room where guests will enjoy their refreshment breaks. Giving guests the chance to get outside for some fresh air in their breaks will help revive them and keep them focused for the next session in your conference day. This is a rarity across the venues in London and offers something a little different.
The layout at Gibson Hall gives the option to offer a space either in the garden or Garden Room to host networking or just a social drink post-conference. Whether you are hosting clients that would gain added value from networking with other guests after the conference, or it is your colleagues who would benefit from having some team building time, this is an added advantage to hosting a conference at Gibson Hall. We have some lovely canapé menus that we can offer post-conference, or some “supper” items which are a little more filling if you have a particularly hungry group. Alternatively, your guests can take advantage of the lovely courtyard garden and have a barbeque, hopefully in the sunshine, and a bar offering a range of summer cocktails and drinks.
